We’ll start by making coconut buns, addictively tender yeasty buns filled with sweet coconut paste. Next, we’ll make fluffy pineapple buns with a special crispy topping. We’ll also recreate a star of dim sum tables: barbecue pork bao (steamed buns). At the end of class, everyone will enjoy eating their creations together. Luxury Tequila & MezcalFood & DrinkThe popularity of tequila and mezcal has exploded in recent years, and for good reason—they’re delicious! Come learn about the distinctive distillates of the blue agave plant from Mexico. We’ll start with tequila, comparing premium Blanco (unaged), Reposado (lightly aged), and Añejo (well-aged) varieties. Then discover how mezcal differs from tequila and taste why some people prefer it. Returning students are welcome, as we’ll be trying an entirely new lineup of tequilas.
