Level 1 (Calles): Learn beginning Spanish in a dynamic environment. Through engaging activities, you’ll practice the alphabet, numbers, greetings, gender agreement, simple present tense of regular verbs, basic vocabulary, and more. Designed for those with little to no experience. Level 2 (Calles) For those who have completed Level 1 or equivalent, continue building conversation skills and explore new grammar concepts. Topics include ordinal numbers, simple present tense of irregular verbs, expressing likes and dislikes, travel phrases, ordering food, and giving directions. Level 3/4 (Abadia): You should already be comfortable with the present tense of regular and irregular verbs and the basic differences between ser and estar. Build confidence with more advanced grammar and verb forms, including reflexive verbs and expressing time, dates, and weather. Begin mastering the past preterite tense. WaitlistStart KnittingFine Arts & CraftsLearn the basics of knitting. Choose your project: a cozy hat, warm scarf, or wrist warmers. We will cover casting on, casting off, the knit stitch, the purl stitch, picking up dropped stitches, adding a new ball of yarn, seaming, and weaving in the ends. Depending on time and interest, we may also explore knitting in the round, as well as simple texture, color work, and shaping by adding a basic cable, making stripes, and using increases/decreases. This class is for beginners and those looking for a refresher. Please note: Materials will be provided for the first class. Once you decide on your project, you will be guided on what to purchase. Stitching the Modern Day SamplerFine Arts & CraftsThere is a reason embroidery samplers have been around for centuries. Traditionally one of the first pieces of embroidery a new stitcher would work on, they also recorded information about stitches and recorded patterns for future use before paper was plentiful. In modern embroidery, samplers are a great way to learn and improve your hand stitching. We’ll practice some of the basic stitches—running, back, stem, chain, seed, and the French knot. Then you’ll use a pattern to create your own sampler, personalizing it through your selection of color and stitches. Beginners and intermediate stitchers are welcome. Please note: An assortment of embroidery thread, needles, base fabrics, and sampler designs will be provided. Students should bring scissors and a bag for transporting itemsFall 2026 -
WaitlistStrength & ConditioningFitness & DanceBuild strength and condition your muscles and joints through a structured routine. After a dynamic warm-up, we’ll move into a sequence of exercises using both weights and bodyweight. The session ends with core-strengthening finishers and a short stretch. This format will be repeated for several weeks, allowing time to refine form, improve breathing, and gradually increase weight. The routine will be modified every few weeks to ensure continued progress and challenge. Students must bring: Yoga mat, a set of weights (5-15lb, depending on your preference/strength level), and resistance bands.Fall 2026
