Glass Art Fusing & MosaicsArts & CraftsBe amazed by the stunning, functional pieces of art you can make by combining colorful pieces of cut glass. After learning how to work safely, you will design your own unique fused glass tile and a night light using glass pieces, powders, frits (crushed glass), and stringers (spaghetti-like glass threads). Then decorate a trivet and embellish a mirror with a gorgeous glass mosaic. Finish the week by creating two beautiful silver-plated pendant necklaces featuring color-changing iridized and dichroic glass. Glass Art Workshop: Flowers & Landscapes (Family)Family ClassesPLEASE NOTE: The class fee is for one adult and one child age 9+. Please register under adult’s name only. Learn the basics of glass fusing by creating your own 8x8-inch decorative tile, which will be kiln-fired at 1400 degrees—a temperature that will allow your design to remain three-dimensional. Each of you will create your own unique composition using a variety of materials, including powders, frit (crushed glass), confetti, copper, stringers (glass threads), and glass ribbons. Landscapes and flowers are popular sources of inspiration, but you’re encouraged to follow your own artistic vision. Your instructor will fire your projects in his kiln and return them within two weeks, beautifully mounted in a white shadow box or frame. Ages 9+Winter 2026 -

HarmonicaMusic, Theater & FilmLearn to play your favorite tunes and blues riffs on this simple, take-anywhere instrument. Beginning: Cover basic skills, including positioning the harmonica properly in your mouth, hand techniques, breath control, and fundamental chords. Bring a C diatonic harmonica (not chromatic). Continuing: Learn draw bends, blow bends, tongue block, and pursing methods to move more fluidly around your instrument. HebrewLanguagesWhether your goal is to speak to Israelis, read the Hebrew Bible in its original language, or follow along at synagogue services, these courses will provide you with a solid foundation in this unique language. Classes are conducted in English with a focus on biblical texts and grammar. Expect lively discussions and optional weekly homework assignments. Both levels will enjoy Hebrew and Israeli music. Level 3B: For students who know 100+ Hebrew words, can conjugate simple verbs in the past and future tenses, can compose a simple Hebrew sentence, or who have already taken Level 3A. This class will focus on chapters 13–15 of the textbook. Level 6: Discover the inner elegance of Hebrew grammar and become your own translator. We will focus on Biblical and prayerbook Hebrew, using examples drawn from the Bible, the Hebrew prayer book, fairy tales rendered in Biblical Hebrew, and a short story in Modern Hebrew. You should be familiar with Hebrew verbs in the past, future, and present tenses in binyan Pa'al, binyan Pi'el and binyan Hif’il. This class will focus on Chapters 25-27 of the textbook. Prior experience is not required, nor are costumes or characters, so it’s easy to jump right in and give LARPing a try. Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) is an interactive storytelling game where you create a character and test its might in an original tale. Practice a variety of skills including improvisation, critical thinking, math, and public speaking. We will use physical tools like books, battle maps, and figures as well as digital ones such as an online library of D&D books and a character creation app to keep the story flowing smoothly. We discourage students from creating characters before the first day of class. Instructors and students will collaborate to determine what kind of story that they will create. In the past, students who arrived with a character in hand have been disappointed if their character doesn't fit the group decision.Winter 2026 -

Your production team will brainstorm story ideas and write a script featuring witty dialog and convincing characters, with a role for everyone. Then you’ll take turns directing, acting, and filming with iPads. You'll edit your footage into a final movie that includes panning, transition shots, special effects, green screen backgrounds, and credits.
