Glass Art Fusing & Mosaics
Be amazed by the stunning, functional pieces of art you can make by combining colorful pieces of cut glass. After learning how to work safely, you will design your own unique fused glass tile and a night light using glass pieces, powders, frits (crushed glass), and stringers (spaghetti-like glass threads). Then decorate a trivet and embellish a mirror with a gorgeous glass mosaic. Finish the week by creating two beautiful silver-plated pendant necklaces featuring color-changing iridized and dichroic glass. If furry felines are some of your best friends, join us for this “cat-tastic” week of kitty-inspired crafting. We’ll make a journal to write down cat stories and poems, decorate a frame to hold your cat’s photo, make cat toys and a small fleece blanket, construct our own cat costumes, sculpt cat miniatures, and more. -

Mini Houses—Powered Up
Transform ordinary cardboard into extraordinary mini buildings and houses, complete with working lights. Use fabric, natural materials, cardboard, glitter, and real lights to create a detailed scene. Add in tiny food, characters, furniture, and other realistic elements to tell a magical story in a mini way. -
Fiber Art Studio
Draw and paint on fabric using embroidery and 2D needle felting. Learn a few basic stitches, how to heat transfer original designs, and use needle felting pens to create mini wool paintings. We will also paint on canvas and then stitch through it to create new works of art, and try our hands at weaving with yarn and other materials. -

Learn how to draw your favorite mobs (characters) by sketching basic shapes and adding the distinctive pixelated details of Minecraft’s signature style. Make a colorful, Minecraft-inspired mask you can wear—whether it’s a Creeper’s face, Steve, or your favorite Minecraft animal. Transform cardboard into cool tools, like swords and pickaxes, that can be used for pretend play or displayed as part of your Minecraft collection. -

Metalsmithing: Silver Jewelry Making
Incorporate personal design touches as you learn or refine fundamental metalsmithing skills in this all-level jewelry-making workshop. Beginning makers will fabricate a textured sterling silver band ring, a sterling silver pendant with a bezel-set stone, and a set of silver bangle bracelets. Students with prior experience in metalsmithing/jewelry can further develop their skills with sterling silver while fabricating earrings and making a chain link bracelet. Multiple soldering and finishing techniques will be covered, and individual design is encouraged. -

We’ll listen to Taylor’s music, watch the Eras Tour movie, and create Taylor-Themed crafts including friendship bracelets and projects inspired by The Life of a Showgirl. -

Journey through the sands of time to the land of the pharaohs and uncover the mysteries of ancient Egypt. Create your own papyrus scroll, decode the secrets of hieroglyphics, and design a personalized cartouche with your name written in these ancient Egyptian symbols. We’ll construct miniature pyramids, make cat mummies, and design an ornate necklace fit for a king. Unveil the treasures of the Nile and depart with artifacts worthy of the ancient gods. -
Tiny Town
Construct a mini world filled with maximum possibilities. Together we will design, measure, construct, and decorate structures such as dollhouses, restaurants, gardens, libraries, or castles. Build miniature furniture, décor, and figurines to bring your ideas to life. By the end of the week, our tiny town will be filled with homes, landmarks, and public spaces, all centered around a community center designed and built together. -
Needle Felting Fun
Transform wool into soft, three-dimensional sculptures using the fun and easy process of needle felting. Learn the basics, including how to safely use the sharp needles and shape the wool into different forms. Then choose from a variety of beginner projects—such as a mushroom, strawberry, gnome, frog, bee, rabbit, or fox—or create your own unique design with guidance from the instructor. Please note, this class involves handling wool and may not be suitable for students with wool allergies.
