Eustis Estate: Mansion & Landscape Tour
Step back into the Gilded Age at Eustis Estate, a largely intact late nineteenth-century country home set on more than eighty acres at the base of the Blue Hills. Built in 1878 and preserved by Historic New England, the estate offers a glimpse into the architecture, design, and daily life of a prominent family of the era. Explore the mansion and landscape, including gardens and historic features that supported life on the estate, while learning about the Eustis family, the staff who maintained the property, and the Aesthetic Movement style that shaped the home. The tour will also include time to view the current exhibition.

The Eustis Estate, is a largely intact late nineteenth-century country home, sits on more than eighty acres nestled at the base of the Blue Hills. Built in 1878, the historic family estate remained in the family through 2012 when it was sold to Historic New England, a charitable, non-profit, historic preservation organization headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts. In 2016 the estate was listed on the National Register of Historic Places as a historic district.
