Broadway Jazz Dance

Jen Paragas is a lifelong dancer, theater enthusiast, and self-proclaimed Broadway nerd with over a decade of experience teaching everything from Broadway Jazz and Ballet to Tap, Modern, and Hip Hop to students of all ages. She holds a Minor in Performance Dance from the University of Maryland, College Park, which gave her a rigorous foundation in technique—and a permanent love for center stage. When she’s not teaching dance, Jen’s "day job" is rooted in adult learning and leadership development. She holds an M.S. in Organizational Development and Human Resources from Johns Hopkins University and is a certified Professional Coach. This unique dual background means Jen knows exactly how to design a classroom environment that is not only high-energy and expertly paced, but also completely supportive, low-pressure, and full of laughs. Musical theater has brought Jen a lifetime of pure joy, and she is passionate about helping other adults rediscover that same spark, build confidence, and have a blast through movement, music, and community.
