Anyone Can Draw
It’s true—anyone can draw! Learning to draw starts with learning to see. Explore basic techniques for capturing objects and scenes with accuracy and clarity. Each week introduces new concepts, including perspective, proportion, line, value, and the relationships between objects. Practice your skills through guided drawing sessions inspired by natural landscapes and animals. Demonstrations, examples, and interactive exercises will help build confidence and mastery. All levels are welcome, including returning students.

Eiko Tabata
Instructor
Eiko is a self-taught artist who primarily works with oil paint. Her subjects often include landscapes, seascapes, and wildlife. Growing up in Hokkaido, Japan, surrounded by mountains, forests, and beloved cats, she developed a deep appreciation for nature — a theme that continues to inspire her work today. Beyond painting, Eiko has always had a close connection with drawing. As a child, she loved creating anime characters and stories, producing more than a dozen of them. While she no longer draws anime, her focus has shifted to capturing animals and natural scenes. She is fascinated by the simplicity and power of using just a few pencils and an eraser to bring beauty to life on paper.
