Charles A. Waehler
Charlie Waehler is a licensed, board-certified counseling psychologist with over 35 years of experience in teaching, research, and clinical practice. He earned his Ph.D. from Northwestern University and spent much of his career on the graduate faculty at the University of Akron. Throughout his career, Charlie provided psychological services to individuals and families, presented workshops nationally, and authored more than 50 peer-reviewed articles and two books: What Do I Say? and Bachelors: The Psychology of Men Who Haven’t Married. As retirement approached for many of his clients—and eventually for himself—Charlie turned his focus to the psychological challenges and opportunities of this major life transition.
