The Pursuit of Happiness
Happiness is a state of mind that fills us with feelings of pleasure, joy, and contentment. Our quality of life and well-being is largely determined by the degree to which we are happy. Explore different views on how to bring about short-term and lasting happiness. We will discuss timeless perspectives from Aristotle, the Dalai Lama, and Buddhism, as well as more modern approaches such as Flow Theory. In a supportive, community environment, we will develop individual strategies that can be implemented immediately to achieve this worthwhile goal.
