Hiking Club: Hike the Hills

Join us on Tuesday, November 5 (a no school day), to take your mind off the world at large and go for a hike. We will head to Blue Hills to explore some ups and downs and all arounds. We will trek part of the ski hill, conquer rocky scrambles, and visit the tower on top of Great Blue for an amazing view. With the leaves off of the trees, it will be easy to observe and discuss the natural world around us. We’ll also visit animals at the Trailside Museum, where we will start and end our hike.

Pickup & Dropoff: We'll meet on Mass Ave in front of the high school at 10 am to get on the Guineafowl van. We will depart for Blue Hills promptly at 10:05 am—please don't be late.

Eleyo Note: Please arrive in sturdy walking shoes, roomy (or stretchy) pants, and bring a sweater and a raincoat to add or subtract layers as you heat up or cool down. You will also need snacks and a bag lunch. All other supplies, including a backpack with a hydration pouch and poles, are provided. The length of our walk will depend on the stamina of the group.
