Spine Mobility Workshop
Adult Enrichment / Wellness & Life -
Fall 2024
We tend to overlook the importance of our spine as the key structure that keeps us upright and connects the different parts of our skeleton to each other: our head, chest, pelvis, shoulders, arms, and legs. This class focuses on spinal articulation by visiting extension, flexion, side movements, and twists to increase space and ease of motion, and decrease discomfort and rigidity. We will embark on supine, seated, and standing exercises that are meant for everyone who wants to feel and move better. All mobility/fitness levels are welcome.
Please note: Students must bring the following to class:
- Yoga mat
- Yoga belt/long strap (8-10 feet long)
- Blanket
- Blocks
