Sociable and enchanting, a hand of bridge takes only a deck of 52 cards, four people and about 10 minutes to play. Easy to learn, the game can take a lifetime to master and is fun to play at all levels of expertise. Over six weeks, you will learn the basics of bidding, playing, and scoring. Each session begins with a lesson, followed by practice play. Classes will include guided demonstrations, group discussions, and prepared deals to practice techniques and have fun. Please note: The textbook Easybridge! by Edith McMullin is optional and may be purchased from the instructor for $15.

This class is perfect for players who have completed Learn Bridge or anyone looking to refresh their knowledge of modern Bridge. Each fun and interactive session begins with instruction and guided demonstrations, followed by hands-on practice at the table. Topics include opening notrump, Stayman and Jacoby transfers, preemptive bidding, and strong 2C openers, as well as bidding to slam, Blackwood, and play of the hand. Comprehensive handouts are provided at the first session, so you’ll have everything you need to take your game to the next level.

Join other novice and beginner-level players for an enjoyable evening of playing Bridge in a friendly and supportive environment, whether you bring your partner or come on your own. During each session you will play 8-12 pre-dealt hands with your classmates. Feel free to use your notes or ask questions during the game and receive real-time guidance from a certified bridge teacher and club director. The class will conclude with a debrief and review of the deals played. Please note: Walk-ins are not allowed.
