Write Your Own Story: Generative Memoir
    Writing & Literature

Everyone has a story worth telling. Find yours! In a supportive space grounded in accountability and kindness, you’ll explore your personal stories through the three key elements of memoir: sensory sparks, scene building, and exterior perspective. Come ready to write with your computer or notebook. Expect guided exercises and two writing prompts to spark new work each week. Sharing is optional, but you’ll have the opportunity to receive feedback if you choose.

Inside the Pages of Olive Kitteridge
    Writing & Literature

Journey to Crosby, Maine, and meet one of contemporary fiction’s most unforgettable characters: Olive Kitteridge. Stubborn, perceptive, and achingly human, Olive grapples with the changes in her town and her own life in Elizabeth Strout’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel. Through her story, we glimpse the conflicts, joys, and quiet endurance that define the human experience. Please read the first chapter of Olive Kitteridge before the first class.
