Tom Rawson is a retired middle school science teacher, and a climate educator. He leads climate change courses for adults, and is active in many other ways on issues of climate education and climate justice. His environmental interest began with the first Earth Day in 1970; his interest in climate change grew beginning 12 years ago when he started teaching it to 8th-graders. Before becoming a teacher Tom ran his own software business (in Arlington!). He spends his free time doing carpentry, bicycle riding, hiking, and sailing when he can.
