Dig deeper into your clay craft to create more intentional, consistent, and functional pieces in this class for students who have basic experience with the potter’s wheel. Set a personal goal—throw and trim a specific form, produce thinner pots, or experiment with larger pieces of clay—and focus on achieving it throughout the course. Cone 5/6 clay, basic throwing tools, and decorating materials such as glazes will be provided, and your pieces will be fired in an electric kiln to produce food-, dishwasher-, and microwave-safe functional ware.
