Leather Working: Tote Bag
Learn the fundamentals of leatherworking while creating your own handcrafted leather tote bag. In this workshop, you’ll work with vegetable-tanned leather—a sustainable material that softens beautifully over time and develops a rich, unique patina with wear. Using simple hand tools such as knives, punches, and mallets, you’ll design, cut, and construct a fully functional 11 × 13–inch tote, perfectly sized to carry your everyday essentials. Along the way, you’ll personalize your bag with leather stains and optional embellishments, creating a timeless piece that reflects your individual style.
