Andrea Javel is a retired college professor of French with over three decades of experience teaching at Boston College. Passionate about language, culture, and human connection, she has spent her career helping students gain confidence and depth in French through authentic materials and thoughtful, communicative teaching. Now semi-retired, she continues to teach and tutor, sharing her love of French language and culture with learners who value curiosity, reflection, and meaningful exchange. She earned her MA from the Université René Descartes in Paris and an M. Ed from Harvard.
