40 Days on the Camino de Santiago
Trace the storied route of the Camino de Santiago, a 500-mile pilgrimage across northern Spain that travelers have walked since the 12th century. For some, it’s a deeply spiritual journey; for others, a test of endurance, reflection, and discovery. Follow one traveler’s 40-day walk from the foothills of the Pyrenees in France to Santiago de Compostela in northwest Spain through photos, artifacts, and firsthand stories. We’ll illuminate the traditions of the Camino, the culture of hospitality along the route, and the many ways walkers find community and support. If the Camino has been on your “someday” list, you’ll take away practical insights, recommended resources, and tips for planning a meaningful and manageable pilgrimage of your own.
