Jewelry Making: Sterling Silver Bangles
Learn to make a set of textured bangle bracelets, one in sterling silver, one in bronze, and three in copper. Develop fabrication skills, including measuring, texturing, filing, forming, soldering, and tumbler finishing. All materials will be provided, including sterling silver, bronze, copper, solder, and sandpaper.
Laurie Savage
Laurie Savage is a jeweler and jewelry instructor. She has taught the jewelry program at Cambridge Center for Adult Ed since 1999, as well as metalsmithing and jewelry classes and workshops at Haystack, LEXArt, Brookline Adult Ed, and Arlington Community Education (ACE). She received a BFA in metalsmithing from MassArt in 1998.
