Journey through the sands of time to the land of the pharaohs and uncover the mysteries of ancient Egypt. Create your own papyrus scroll, decode the secrets of hieroglyphics, and design a personalized cartouche with your name written in these ancient Egyptian symbols. We’ll construct miniature pyramids, make cat mummies, and design an ornate necklace fit for a king. Unveil the treasures of the Nile and depart with artifacts worthy of the ancient gods.

Tim Shabarekh

Tim Shabarekh is a Third Grade classroom teacher at Bishop Elementary School, a role that he began this past Fall. In the years prior, he has worked with K-5 students as a paraprofessional educator and student teacher within the school. This is also the third year that Tim is returning as a SummerFun instructor. Inspired by his son, Tim has coached youth soccer and played Minecraft for many years. He loves creating innovative and exciting ways for his students to learn and have fun!
