Use a camera to capture epic battles and create whimsical worlds. You will make miniature scenes starring your own toys and learn how to photograph them so they look life-sized. Bring your creativity, your imagination, and your toys, and be prepared to master the magic of scale. We’ll transform the ordinary into the extraordinary!

Instructor
Arjun Joyce
Arjun Joyce is a specialized support paraprofessional at the Hardy School in Arlington, MA. He is an artist and filmmaker, and has worked on many film sets, ranging from commercials to music videos. He has filmed and edited videos for the Cambridge Public School District, Harvard University’s College of Arts and Sciences, and the medical education platform GIBLIB. Arjun has also has sold several paintings both online and in Manhattan gallery shows. As a child he wrote and sold his own comics while studying all the “how to make your own comics/draw realistic characters” books he could find. Last year, he taught a Film/Drama curriculum at the Hardy After School program, and is currently pursuing his M.Ed to become an elementary teacher.
