Spring Equinox Walk
Adult Enrichment / Out & About -
Winter 2026
March 20 is the vernal equinox, marking the beginning of spring. In New England, the weather begins to moderate, the first flowers push through the soil, and daylight stretches a little longer each day. Celebrate this time of rebirth and renewal the following day with a walk through a local conservation area in search of signs of spring. We’ll begin with a touch of poetry and equinox lore, then focus on plant identification and fascinating bits of natural history.
Please note: Meeting location will be emailed with course confirmation. All walks meet rain or shine. Children ages 10+ are welcome to register if accompanied by a registered adult.
