The Wonders of Watercolor
ACE Kids K-12 / Arts & Crafts (K-12) -
Winter 2026
Enjoy learning the fundamentals of playing and painting with watercolors, including proper brush selection and application techniques. We’ll learn about cool and warm tones, how to add dimension with hues and texture, and so much more. We will also experiment with surfaces, resists, stencils and styles to immerse ourselves in the wonders of watercolor.
Hope Howard
Hope (she/they) is a local printmaker and art educator with a passion for making art fun and accessible. As an educator, Hope promotes experimentation and play while teaching foundations of each medium to help students feel successful and have no limits to their expression. When not teaching art, Hope is lounging with her Great Dane, Luna, or exploring museums, gardens, and thrift stores in the area.
