Learn the essentials of candle making, from selecting waxes, wicks, colors, and fragrances to exploring a bit of candle history. Then combine your favorite color and fragrance to pour your own shaped candle and a set of fragrant wax melts. Leave with your custom creations and the know-how to keep experimenting at home.

Elisha Verhaar
Elisha Verhaar is a full-time PhD student who started making candles about 2 years ago. Looking for unique favors for her wedding, she created succulent-shaped candles that were received so well that she started "Bits of Joy Gifts." She now sells a wide variety of unique shaped candles online and in-store. She hopes to spread her love for candle-making further by hosting fun workshops and brightening people's lives with her handmade Bits of Joy!
