American Mah Jongg: Beginning Intensive
Learn to play this fun and fascinating game that combines a Chinese set of tiles with American rules and strategy. We will cover the fundamentals of the game, progressing through familiarity with the tiles, building the wall, understanding the Charleston series of tile exchanges, and learning the hands.
Please note: Each class is 2.5 hours. Register for one session only. You must bring your own 2024 National Mah Jongg League official card, which can be purchased here (we highly recommend the large size).

Sally Goldfarb is a retired severe special needs teacher with a passion for crafting, canasta and mah jong. Sally has played mah jong for over thirty years and relishes the opportunity to share her enthusiasm with her training as an educator.
