EarthCORE: Environmental Leadership

Charlotte Milan has been the Town of Arlington's Recycling Coordinator since 2012. Passionate about community engagement, Charlotte recruited legions of volunteers to help launch the highly successful Arlington DPW Reuse & Recycling Center. She appreciates the deep environmental commitment of Arlingtonians, and strives to co-create projects and programs that excite this community of waste reducers, while bringing Arlington to the forefront of environmental stewardship.

Rachel Oliveri is the Arlington School Sustainability Coordinator and has taken a lead role in school specific and town wide events centered around citizen science, waste reduction and climate action. She supports student Green Teams and is inspired by student ideas and action. Rachel has a background in child development and youth program evaluation and is committed to creating opportunities for youth to advocate for the environment in their schools and in the community.
