Creative Writing for Beginners
Do you have an idea for a story you are yearning to put down on paper, but just can’t get started? Now’s your chance. Over four weeks, you will learn and practice a simple process for getting your thoughts and ideas on paper. Learn techniques such as “show vs. tell,” using all five senses, point of view, characterization, and adding tension and conflict to your writing. You will write in class and at home. Share your work with the class, or not; the choice is yours. This course is geared toward the “beginner” writer who seeks a comfortable and supportive environment.
