The Sewing Room

Have “sew” much fun exploring machine sewing, whether you have never touched a machine or just need a refresher. Get familiar with the parts and functions, threading, adjusting tension, and reloading bobbins. Learn more about fabrics, patterns, cutting, pinning, and sewing a straight seam. Then use your skills to complete a basic sewing project, such as a cushion, scrunchie, tote bag, pencil case, or wallet. You will need to bring fabric and thread to customize your project. A list will be provided.
