Mediterranean Meze

Join us to prepare classic meze from Greece and Turkey. Translated literally, the word “meze” means a taste or a bite. The appetizer of the Mediterranean world, these small plates are perfect for the beginning of a meal or as hors d’oeuvres at a cocktail party. We will learn how to make hortopita (a classic Greek pie with filo dough and greens); mercimek koftesi (Turkish red lentil balls); and two classic Greek dips, tzatziki (made from yogurt, garlic, and cucumbers) and tirokafteri (spicy whipped feta cheese).
