Focus on Digital Photography Basics

Move off the “auto” setting and learn what your digital camera can do. Explore your camera’s features and menus and then get an overview of the basic elements of photography, including shutter speed, aperture, metering, focus, and ISO speed. We’ll build on these basics, adding lighting and composition, and apply them to photographing common subjects such as portraits and landscapes. Some sessions will include a practical outdoor component.
