Divorce: Information You Need to Know

Lydia Carbone, MSW is a co-mediator with Mediation Works, Inc. As a social work professional, for more than 30 years she has been working with families who are experiencing deep stress. Today her major focus is in helping families to find common ground in times of high conflict. For the last five years she has been training human service professionals to work with parents in challenged situations, and for the last 3 years she has engaged as a mediator to support families in navigating their internal dynamics to reach their self-defined optimum mutual level of well-being. Lydia is committed to assisting people in using alternatives to the traditional adversarial approach to divorce, instead supporting them in creating win-win agreements and reducing stress. 

Ben Stich Mediating divorce and family conflict is Ben Stich’s passion and practice. Ben provides mediation to facilitate resolution for all types of family conflict, including divorce, co-parenting conflict, marital issues, parent-child and adult sibling disputes. Ben applies his expertise in divorce and co-parenting mediation as an instructor for the state’s only court-mandated High Conflict Parent Education program at William James College, and as a Divorce Mediation Instructor for MWI in Boston. Ben has an MSW from Boston College, an M.Ed from Endicott College, and attended Trinity College as an undergraduate. He is a lifelong Massachusetts sports homer, and has had dogs named Reggie (Lewis), (Tom) Brady, and (Bill) Russell.
