    Veteran Roll Models players from the 2025-2026 school year are invited to join these special summer adventures that continue their characters’ stories. Heroes reunite with old friends from Caravan of Secrets, like Aubin, the one-legged swordsman, or Bronwen, the bard, and further develop their adventures. The Call of Muse is for existing characters at 4th-6th level, while A Mile In My Shoes is for 5th-7th level. These adventures are for returning school-year players only; new players or those who have only attended summer programs are not eligible.

    1967 was a turning point in American cinema, a year when Hollywood both reflected and reshaped the nation’s cultural landscape. We’ll explore four landmark films—The Graduate, Bonnie and Clyde, Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner, and In the Heat of the Night. Through weekly screenings and discussions, we’ll examine how these films challenged social norms, redefined cinematic storytelling, and captured the anxieties and aspirations of a rapidly changing America. Topics include the rise of “New Hollywood,” shifting attitudes toward race, gender, and authority, and the growing generational divide. No prior film knowledge is required—just curiosity about cinema and the world it reflects.

No class May 12 Welcome to the New NMJL Card: April brings the new card of winning Mah Jongg hands, and with it the thrill of discovering the new patterns. We’ll focus on decoding confusing hands, finding backup options, and developing winning strategies. Continuing players will feel confident and ready for the Mah Jongg year ahead.

Level 1 (Beginner): In this in-person class for absolute beginners only, learn the ASL manual “alphabet” and hand shapes, basic grammar structure, and fingerspelling techniques. Explore the history of ASL while we cover pronouns, articles, numbers, yes/no questions, farewell rituals, introductions, and more. Level 2 (High Beginner): Further increase your vocabulary and get introduced to verb tenses in this in-person class for students who have completed Level 1. Learn how to engage in conversation about personal life events, family dynamics, friendships, and pets, as well as how to describe appearances and name North American cities, states, and provinces. Level 3 (Intermediate): This class is for students who have completed Level 2. Refine your skills as we cover more complex topics, including numeral incorporation, telling time, expressing frequency, daily routines, holidays and cultural observances, vacations, hobbies, and more.
